Sometimes I look at the guy who just comes home after a days work and puts his feet up and calls it a night... and think to myself.  Hes got it all figured out.  Hes not in any hurry to get some place he's not.  he isnt kept up at night worrying about if he's attained enough by a certain age or if his car is appropriate for some status.  he just parks his truck, kicks off some work boots and probably gets more action than I've seen for all of Bush's 2nd term!!!  Basically, some times, i just think... all the effort, and the hard work, is it really worth it?

Then, i think about warm sandy beaches, and european shopping, and telecommuting from home... yeah, this is all worth it.

For the record: Go West Old Man is an equal opportunity mud slinger.  If you are not yet offend by this blog entry, we certainly apologize.  And do promise to make fun of the quirkiness of your inferior gender, foreign race, bizzaro religious affiliation or simple love of barn yard animals in the near future.  Everyone gets their shot around these parts...we were brought up right after all. ( THX mom)   Now it just wouldn't fair to leave anyone out now would it?

Have you ever had a car that ate things? Like wallets or phones that are the same color as the interior...this happens more often that I'd like to admit. Buuut, it could just be me. I have been driving around without a drivers liscense for almost 5 months.... have looked evvvvverywhere. And then, yesterday, I go to scan something at home... and there it was on my little photocopy scan unit. wtf!!! I could have just slapped myself. wooosh, big relief because going to the dmv suuucks ! God Bless America.

Hillary C. I heart U giiiirrrll

Thinking about Hillary made me want to do my part to bring the women of America together.  What better way than with a toast..... cause you know sometimes a diva just cant get any respect.    Hers to all the tough as nails ladies who have repaired our broken hinges, and built this blogger's-parent's deck.  To all the mullet wearing, scotch drinking, truck driving, government employed, 'play date' having, environmental engineers out there.  Falcon Crest winery salutes you.  Cheers!! 

1986 YUUUUMMM!!!

Regarding the previous post.......Aren't you loving the hair and the "Im with my 1st cousin cause my mom plays cards with her mom" expression on their faces.  I love this picture because the year (1986) couldn't be hotter right now.  But these kids lived 1000 miles from coolsville (bless their hearts), and doesn't it ever show. Asymmetrical hair cuts, slim pants, and flat shoes...so hot!  Stayed tuned for the 2nd edition of the Hot List.
